The Bering shipyard in Antalya, Turkey is
thrilled to announce the launch of Bering 65 Golden Mile.
She is the third production hull of the classically
styled 65 motoryacht, made to fit the needs of an experienced ocean-crossing
voyager.
Featuring a castle tan hull and a
classical white superstructure color scheme, Golden Mile was
custom built for a Korean client who is a passionate yachtsman and fisherman in
search for a reliable, powerful and over-engineered explorer, all
characteristic to the Bering brand and vessels.
Golden Mile’s interior floor plan includes three
spacious staterooms, each with its own private en-suite head, and a crew
quarters for two. Her warm and welcoming interiors feature hand crafted
American walnut varnish, combined with high quality soft fabrics and
sophisticated Sivec marble for the en-suite heads.
The huge wheelhouse, positioned at the
bow, reveals a full leather customized cockpit and a rectangular galley
varnished with Corian Pegasus countertops, and equipped with full suite of
appliances.
Alexei Mikhailov – Co-founder and CEO of Bering
Yachts – quoted: “I’ve been following the construction
progress on B65 Golden Mile since the beginning, and I can definitely say that
this is a one of a kind project. The 65 model is among my
favorite Berings, boosting explorer capabilities combined with a smart and
practical layout. After the successful launch of the first two 65’s - Namaste
and Serge, I am certain that this boat model is real a success and we will
continue building it for customers who are in search for a rugged steel
explorer yacht. With a displacement of over 236,000 lbs. (107 metric tons)
and a fuel capacity of 4,500 gallons (17,000 liters), this yacht has the
capabilities of a little ship that can travel the world in safety and comfort.
Her comfortable 7 foot (2.10 m) headroom throughout and her immense volume of
83 GT is comparable to vessels measuring over 70 to 75 feet in length. I
hope the owner will enjoy his time on the boat and we will be able to showcase
her not only in Cannes, but in other international boat shows throughout
2017-2018.
Built with a robust steel hull and an
aluminium superstructure, the sturdy motoryacht was designed to be a low
fuel-burning yacht in addition to also being ultra-quiet, she is able to burn a
combined total of only 8 gallons (30 liters) per hour at 8 knots with a range
of 5,000 nautical miles.
Golden Mile will make its world debut at the
Cannes Festival 12 - 17 September 2017. The vessel will be available for
inspection and sea-trial during the show.
